Katie and Neil’s wedding was beautiful in black & white and color. When I am editing a wedding I go through each photo and decide how it should be processed. I love black and white photographs as I originally learned photography in a dark room developing just that. But with digital you have the choice and most of the time with weddings – the colors are just too vibrant to ignore! That being said I always make a selection of black & white photographs. I really love some of the ones from Katie and Neil’s wedding below. There is something so timeless about a monochrome image.

I was so excited to hear from Kimberly and MIke. I had photographed both their engagement and wedding last year. They decided that they wanted to photograph their anniversary with their dogs Bootsie and Layla. Since they had their engagement & wedding at the beach… what a better place than the oceanfront to continue the tradition. I hope to see them again next year!

From getting ready to parting the night away… Michelle and Justin had such a visually stunning wedding. Their ceremony was held at the historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk and reception at the downtown Norfolk Marriott. We took full advantage of all each location had to offer and even some stops in between. Michelle and Justin are so perfect for each other. Thanks for letting me capture your day!
