Youth Matters MLK Day Event

Youth Matters put on a great Martin Luther King day event at the Mount Sinai Church in Portsmouth, Virginia. There was a mix of poetry, music, art and public speaking. I photographed these images for Wilhelmina Long the founder of Youth Matters to use for their promotional materials.

Laarni and Bobby’s 25th Wedding Anniversary

What is a better way to celebrate 25 years of marriage then to do it all over again! I had a lot of fun working with the Bibays. Their reception was one of the largest I’ve photographed with over 350 people. I especially enjoyed taking photographs of the people of the dance floor. There were some really advanced ballroom dancers there including Laarni herself!

College Senior Portraits

Melanie contacted me to take her senior portraits. She was graduating from GW in the spring and wanted to have announcements made with a professional photograph. Her boyfriend Adam came along and we took some pictures of the happy couple too. We had a fun time and were fortunate to have a nice night at the oceanfront in the middle of winter.
