Sumerford/West Wedding

Ashley and Brad were married at Baylake United Methodist Church and celebrated at the Lesner Inn, in Virginia Beach. The Bridal party got ready at a local beach rental home so everything was within minutes of each other. An early afternoon thunderstorm threatened to spoil all the outdoor fun, but it passed quickly leaving the rest of the day perfect! My favorite shot was Ashley and Brad next to the ice cream truck!

Playtime with the Bride and Groom

Maria and Christopher had such a fun outlook to their wedding. After the formal parts of their day were over – i.e. the church photographs and the ceremony they decided to have recess with their bridal party at the church playground. It was a riot and made for some priceless photos!

My Best Friends Wedding

So my oldest friend tied the knot last weekend at the Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg. And I finally got to experience what it’s like to be the Maid of Honor. Well – actually I should say Matron of Honor, but that sounds so old. It was such a beautiful wedding and I appreciated being on the other side of the camera for a change. Although being the obsessed photographer I am – I couldn’t help but sneak a few shots of Nicole and Greg.
