Megan and Stephen were married in the small town of Mobjack, Virginia part of Matthews county at Megan’s parents home on the water. Some of the fun details of the day included Megan walking with her Dad and bridesmaids to the church, their golden retriever puppy Gus, a cake made by Mom, and of course all of the beautiful backdrops to photograph! It was hard to narrow down my favorites.

Of all the weddings I have photographed at the Lesner – this was my first where the ceremony was on the upstairs deck. What a beautiful place to say I do! You can tell Jillian and Nick are so crazy about each other. It was so much fun to capturing their big day.
My husband and I took a week off at the end of the summer for a change of scenery. His family has a cottage on the coast of Maine that we love to visit every so often. It is just one of those places that is totally serene. I always feel so inspired while up there. We also spent a couple of days on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH which was so much fun. I tried waterskiing for the first time. I’m much better on the snow!
