Kelly and James came all the way from Minnesota to get married in Poulsbo, Washington. They wanted to share their union with their close family and James’s grandmother who lives in WA. The pavilion in downtown Poulsbo waterfront is a beautiful place to have a wedding ceremony. We photographed the happy couple throughout Poulsbo at the Williams park, public dock and downtown.
Nichole and Harry were married at the King County Courthouse in downtown Seattle. We captured their special day with portraits in Pioneer Square before the I dos. I really love photographing Courthouse weddings as I find them endearing and romantic. Nichole and Harry’s was just this!
It’s said that rain on your wedding day is good luck. However most couples would prefer to take their chances with superstition and hope for sunshine on their wedding day. If it was up to me I’d choose a partly cloudy day for the best lighting. :) But of course we don’t have any control over the weather and it’s one of the many changing elements that helps keep us wedding photographers on our toes.
