Megan and Eric had one of those perfect evenings for their wedding. The kind where you could just sit outside for hours and just feel relaxed by the warm breeze. But there was no time to mellow for us! We raced from getting ready to the ceremony, chased the remnants of sun through Yorktown, then first dances, toasts, cake cutting, more dancing and then away they went! Phew! (In a good way) My favorite part of their wedding was their adorable shepherd mix doggie who was the ring bearer!

My husband and I took a week off at the end of the summer for a change of scenery. His family has a cottage on the coast of Maine that we love to visit every so often. It is just one of those places that is totally serene. I always feel so inspired while up there. We also spent a couple of days on Lake Winnipesaukee in NH which was so much fun. I tried waterskiing for the first time. I’m much better on the snow!

Andrea and Mark are one of those couples that embody class and style. Their engagement session last year was one of my favorites of all time. They dressed in a vintage look and arranged for a historic plane as a prop! So I knew that their wedding would be just as cool. Andrea and Mark made their beach wedding unique by taking cues from Nantucket including sailboats, nautical rope, navy blue blazers and bright red ribbon.

And the ice sculpture sailed off into the sunset… well maybe more like melted into the pool!
