Wedding season is in full swing! I love meeting so many great couples and photographing these special momments. Jenn and Steve’s wedding at the Manor House was my first of the season back in June. (I’ve been busy editing and less time to post!) It was a great way to start off the summer with a joyous couple and beautiful day!
Another winter family photography session. This time at the Young Families beautiful new Bainbridge Island home. It was a picture perfect setting even in the cold. The kids made it more fun by taking breaks to just play! Of course those were the best moments to photograph. :)
Every year I get a few requests to photograph families in the winter. I’m always a little weary as my experience with working with people in the cold often means running noses, cranky kids and bulky sweaters that are often unflattering. But I understand that around the holidays is often the only time extended families get together so I usually give in and say let’s go for it. I’m happy to say that this year my winter family sessions were great! Yes, it was cold and the kids were doing jumping jacks to stay warm, but everyone was game and no unruly sweaters too boot! The first family is below – on one of the coldest mornings of 2015!
