When the chance of rain looked like it would spoil our outdoor bridal session we set up in Kara’s Mom home. Then we got lucky as the sprinkles stopped long enough for us to take some photographs in the garden. Can’t wait for Kara and Joe’s big day!

Garden Bridal Session

I met Lisa at my favorite bridal session spot – sometimes it can be challenging to make a familiar location new, but fortunately every bride is unique. And different seasons make for various blooms in this garden. This time a Magnolia tree had huge flowers and made for a beautiful accessory for the bride to be.

Sumerford/West Wedding

Ashley and Brad were married at Baylake United Methodist Church and celebrated at the Lesner Inn, in Virginia Beach. The Bridal party got ready at a local beach rental home so everything was within minutes of each other. An early afternoon thunderstorm threatened to spoil all the outdoor fun, but it passed quickly leaving the rest of the day perfect! My favorite shot was Ashley and Brad next to the ice cream truck! 

Everyone was on the dance floor!
