Carla and Mina contacted me to photograph their wedding at Somerset Hills Country Club in Bernardsville, New Jersey. I am currently located on Bainbridge Island in Western Washington, but still photograph weddings on the East Coast. I had photographed Carla’s sister’s wedding and it’s always such an honor to be hired again by the same family. Carla and Mina had a unique Egyptian orthodox ceremony, my favorite part was that they were an honorary king and queen for the day.

Michelle and Ion were married at the botanical gardens. And although the rain did hamper there outdoor ceremony it didn’t stop these two from getting outside for some dramatic photographs including jumping in the fountain in the the pouring rain! It was definitely romantic and memorable!  I also really loved their winter decor with evergreens and rustic elements.

Gina and Brian were married in Asbury Park, NJ. After the ceremony we traveled down to the oceanfront to take some photographs at the beach. I had no idea how popular of a spot this would be for photos. There must have been four+ bridal parties and a handful of other professional portraits going on! In my seven years of working I’ve never run into so many other photographers in one place. It was a little crazy, but I can understand what all the fuss is about.  The old Asbury park casino does make a unique backdrop. I would love to shoot there again, but perhaps off season next time. After the beach we made our way to The Molly Pitcher Inn. What a great venue! And a fabulous party with the Joe Baracata Band leading the way.
